In 2025, TMP donated a Tamaraw utility vehicle and PHP 500,000 worth of ‘Bantay Tamaraw’ kits to support TCP’s mobility requirements and field operations on Mindoro Island.

Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) has donated PHP 3 million to support the conservation of the critically endangered Tamaraw on Mindoro Island. The donation was made through the company’s social and humanitarian arm, Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation (TMP Foundation), and will be used to fund key initiatives of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ (DENR) Tamaraw Conservation Program (TCP).

The partnership between TMP Foundation, DENR, and the Mindoro Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc. (MBCFI) was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed during the 2026 Tamaraw Fiesta in Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro. The MoA signing ceremony was attended by Nelson Manglo, Operations Manager of TMP Foundation; Felix Mirasol, Jr., Regional Executive Director of DENR-MIMAROPA; and Kathy Lene Cielo, Executive Director of MBCFI.
